As always, come in appropriate practice wear (ready for fitness)
Use a clean, separate pair of shoes for classes - for indoor use only. Change shoes in the car.

Bring a water bottle labeled. And make sure your athlete brings it home. Water refill station will remain CLOSED
No bags or personal belongings allowed in the facility including extra clothing and cell phones. Only a labeled water bottle. Leave everything else at home / in the car.
UPDATE: Masks are strongly suggested for all programs, when in and around the facility. This includes parents. Be sure to use a comfortable, well fitted mask. Coaches are adjusting high heart rate activity to allow for this change. We have custom masks available for purchase online or you can email us. DROPPING OFF / PARKING
Ask your child the daily health survey questions before planning to come to class. Do not bring your child to classes when any questionable symptoms arise. Survey located below.
Arrive 5 minutes before class completely ready to go, shoes changed, water only in hand, line up on a mark.
Late arrivals will not be permitted entry as it interferes with the transition into the facility
** NEW ** Our address is 7844 Edmonds Street. Entry is at the FRONT of the building. Please respect parking laws and signage.
Parents may wait with their children before class starts as long as distancing is diligently respected
Once a participant has entered the building, parents may leave the site
No parents will be allowed inside including washroom use.
Participants will be directed to sanitize their hands and shoes upon entry and exit.
No physical contact from person to person for classes except for staged return to sport protocol.
Distanced spaces are allocated throughout the gym to best maintain distance between participants.
Anyone developing sudden symptoms will be immediately masked, moved away from others, and parent will be contacted for immediate pick up.
Athletes will leave as they enter, one at a time, spaced out
Sanitize hands upon exit
SOCIAL DISTANCING / ILLNESS
All classes will be limited in size to ensure 2m distance remains possible with ease
Practice times staggered to allow for limited numbers and less contact
Floors are marked for spacing
No gathering permitted by athletes, coaches, parents or staff in any area, including outside
All spectator areas closed. ONLY participants permitted inside.
Complete health assessment before attending.
Always stay home when unsure about a symptom and follow all rules set forth but RC and public health.
Anyone developing sudden symptoms will be promptly masked, separated, and directed outside to a parent.
WHAT IF WE ARE REQUIRED TO ISOLATE / BECOME ILL AND CANNOT ATTEND MY CLASS?
Contact us by msg on BAND ideally at least 1 day prior to class so we can send you a private zoom link.
Be sure the display name matches who is registered in the class. Attending via zoom is at your own risk.
Zoom should not be used for any other reason.
CLEANING / FACILITY SET UP
Staff on site will sanitize equipment and commonly used surfaces between classes or as needed/required by public health.
Shoes sprayed with disinfectant upon entry and hands sanitized
Each athlete will be assigned their own specific space and equipment
Large floor area is cleaned daily
Staff wear masks while working inside
In the event that a facility full closure is required, all regular classes will move to virtual programming and may include slight schedule changes. It is our intention to avoid any changes to the schedule wherever possible.
Cancelled Day Camps and single day workshops will be credited to accounts for future use.
Any programs that we can move to online in the event of a closure will be just so.
We understand that in these times, virtual alternatives are the best solution and thus remains our policy. We are happy to be able to offer continued activity to foster some level of normalcy for our members in the event of isolation/closure.
REOPENING AFTER A CLOSURE
Once given the green light to reopen, some time (1 to 2 weeks) may be required to prepare for reopening with any updates or changes to previous protocols to ensure the safety of all members and staff.
All changes will always be communicated by email or Band to our members. Please ensure your contact info is up to date.

HEALTH ASSESSMENT SCREEN
Under the new protocols and process, before classes, it is your responsibility to do an assessment of your/your child’s/children’s health, prior to attending. That assessment needs to include a full review of all symptoms listed on this health checklist (updates will be made, as required).
Does your child have any of the following:
Cough or worsening of chronic cough
Shortness of breath
Loss of sense of smell or taste
Nausea and vomiting
Loss of appetite
Has anyone in your household been asked to isolate during this timeframe?
Has anyone travelled outside Canada within the last 14 days?
If you answered “YES” to any of the questions, and the symptoms are not related to a preexisting condition (e.g. allergies), your child should NOT attend.
If you/your child is experiencing any symptoms of illness, contact a healthcare provider for further assessment – this can include calling 8-1-1 or a primary care provider like a physician of a nurse practitioner. Anyone experiencing symptoms must not come near the RC building until assessed and symptoms have resolved. If you answered “YES” to question 2, use the COVID-19 Self-Assessment Tool to determine if you should be tested for COVID-19: https://bc.thrive.health/covid19/en
