All Students will be charged a registration/insurance fee. This fee is good for one year or until you drop out of the program.

Because of our strict student to teacher ratio, missed classes will not result in make-up classes, prorated tuition or refunds. No refunds for classes missed including scheduled holidays.

Please note: You are responsible for payment for your student's classes WHETHER OR NOT YOUR STUDENT ATTENDS CLASS until the time you notify the staff VIA WRITTEN NOTICE. Please do not rely on your student to verbally let us know that he/she will no longer be attending classes. If a student stops coming to class without notification then that student's account will be charged for the additional 30 days. This charge will be for holding the student's place in that class instead of offering that place to one of the many on a waiting list.

Children may wear tucked in T-shirts and shorts OR Tights. NO chewing gum or jewelry. Hair should be pulled neatly and securely away from the face so that is stays up for the entire class. All students should have activity-appropriate footwear during class. Personal items should be left in outside of equipment areas. Jewelry should not be worn during classes. PLEASE LEAVE JEWELRY ARTICLES AT HOME. This facility's staff will not be responsible for ANY items that may be lost or stolen. Be sure your student's personal items are marked with their name.

Be sure your student arrives 5 minutes before (no earlier please) his/her scheduled class time. Please pick up your child on time. Please inform us if you know you will be late picking up your child. Instruct your child to wait inside the building and you should escort them from the building to your car. During peak times the parking lot can become crowded. Please take into consideration that our athletes may include young children. Please drive slowly and carefully. Do not take a chance on your child running to and from your car.

Early pickup is a disruption of practices.

We understand that life happens.  One late pick up is understandable with extenuating circumstances.  Please respect that staff are unable to stay late to watch children, either at closing time or during other practices.  Repeat late pickups will be subject to a charge of $1 per minute or more.

PARENTS MUST NOTIFY THE GYM TO DROP A STUDENT FROM CLASS. Only a written notice via email, regular postal mail or hand delivered to our front desk will be acceptable and must be provided 1 month prior to dropping the class, and 2 months for all star cheer.


All athletes and parents understand that:

  1. They assume full responsibility for all costs incurred as a member of RC including but not limited to: gym registration, monthly tuition, apparel costs, competition and travel expenses, or any other item(s), or services purchased or rendered and the payment in full of those items regardless of any circumstances that may arise such as dismissal from the team, or disbandment of the team.

  2. A credit card or post dated checks must be on file.  You will be charged on the 1st of each month (regardless of holidays).

  3. $25 fee is applied when payments are not on time or cheques/credit card payments are not cleared.

  4. If you would like to pay by email or cash, you must:

    1. provide a credit card number, or

    2. pay your final session month tuition as deposit plus all additional fees must be paid prior to due date.

  5. Tuition does not fluctuate based on the number or duration of practices in any month. It is prorated for the year with a monthly tuition.

  6. Tuition pays for training. It does not pay for the right to perform.

  7. Vacations or time off will not be prorated. Please make note that all RC vacations have already been prorated into the monthly fee.

  8. All payment due dates must be met.

  9. An athlete’s account must be current and in good standing to participate in practices, competitions, or special events.

  10. RC reserves the rights to withhold items, deny participation, and remove an athlete from their team for failure to keep up with financial obligations.

  11. Any monies received from an athlete/parent will be applied first to any overdue tuition/fees.

  12. All tuition/fees must be current before an athlete may collect any clothing/uniform or other retail items.

  13. If an athlete chooses to leave or is asked to leave RC for any reason before the season is over, any and all funds are completely non-refundable.

  14. RC reserves the right to turn over all delinquent accounts to a collections agency and the parent/athlete will be responsible for all additional costs incurred.


  • We are not responsible for lost or stolen items – please keep valuables at home or in a safe place and DO NOT leave items in the gym after practice.

  • Sportsmanship: all athletes and parents are expected to be respectful, courteous, and supportive to all other athletes, parents, coaches, officials, judges, and administrators at all times while at cheer, school or otherwise.

  • At competitions, events, and the like, athletes are to congratulate and be courteous to all, including our opponents.

  • Cheer Competitions and offsite events: parents are responsible for their children at all times.  Coaches and volunteers are unavailable to assist with tending to children except during warm up times during a competition. Please do not leave competitions or event sites at any time for safety reasons.  If alternative arrangements have been made, the head coach or team manager must be notified with contact information.

  • Anyone representing RC will conduct themselves appropriately online/electronically (Facebook, Twitter, Text, Chat, etc)

  • Spotting and Coaching – only qualified coaches and instructors are to coach and/or spot tumbling  and stunts unless otherwise directed by the Head Coach.

  • Stunting / Tumbling – not be practiced outside of supervised times with qualified coaches.

  • Food and Drink – There is to be no food at practice.  Always bring water or a sports drink.  Absolutely no junk food, gum, candy, pop, etc at practice.

  • Academics – this should be the number one priority not the number one excuse.  Make sure that time is managed correctly to allow success in school and with team.  Missing practices for homework or studying is not accepted.  Schedule time accordingly around practices.  Parents are expected to communicate any failing grades for their child.  Any athlete who does not maintain passing grades will be benched.  During this period, athletes are still required to attend practice and train to keep their physique up but will be placed in an “alternate” position. 

  • Unacceptable scenario: “Coach, I have a test/project due tomorrow and need to study during practice.”

  • Practices – given the nature of group stunts, pyramids and choreography, practices are essential, mandatory, and not to be missed.  Appointments, specialists, classes, family activities, other sports or activities, and anything else MUST be scheduled around practice, and events time.

  • Arrive Early/Stay Late – we ask all athletes to arrive 10 to 15 minutes early to practice and plan to stay 10 to 15 minutes late to help with Mats.  We encourage team efforts so everyone helps until the job is done.

  • NO CELL PHONES!  Athletes are NOT PERMITTED to use their cell phones during practice and are required to turn them on silent until outside the gym.

  • Washroom breaks – go before and after practice.  If necessary, children must go with a buddy or parent.

  • Parents / Spectators – as of Sept 1 2017, we prefer parents do not watch the practices.  However we understand that many parents are keen to attend.  At this time, PARENTS ARE OK TO WATCH with the agreement that there is no loud chatter, no cell phone use, and absolutely no discussion with your child while they are being coached.  Allow the coaches to do their job. If this becomes a problem, we will have to close practices.

  • Attendance is mandatory.

  • We reserve the right to bench anyone who is not respecting the rules.  This includes inexcusable absences like medical appts, other sports, no shows, etc.

  • In case of illness or injury, athletes are required to attend practice, but may be asked not to participate.  In other words, if you have a cold, come anyway.  If you are staying home sick from school, you MUST communicate with the COACH directly first thing so that a NEW practice plan can be prepared in your absence.


  • Special absences MAY be requested in writing minimum 2 weeks in advance  and submitted to the coach/manager of the team.  The absence will be approved at the HEAD COACHES discretion.



All athletes must:

  1. Provide RC with current health and emergency contact information.

  2. Inform RC of all medical conditions that may limit or prevent their ability to participate in any RC activities.

  3. Notify RC of any injuries sustained as a result of their participation in any sanctioned RC activities.

  4. Provide valid written documentation from a doctor explaining the reason(s) and the duration for which they may be limited or unable to participate in any RC activities.

  5. Provide RC with a list of any medications that they are currently taking.

  6. Refrain from the illegal use of drugs, alcohol, tobacco or any other substances.
